About me

I was originally trained in business management (MBA in the USA), and added on to that more than 1,600 hours of professional psychological training. I have consulted businesses since 2000, and work as a business and life coach since 2006.

As a coach, I began in 2006 with coaching business founders, start-ups and entrepreneurs. Today my work as a business coach is mainly for entrepreneurs and managers and their teams. My main line of work today, however, has become Life Coaching. What I like about Life Coaching as opposed to business coaching, is that here usually there is more attention towards the human being. It is clear to me that this way more human development is possible, and that makes Life Coaching the most meaningful field of coaching for me. When I accept business coaching assignments, which I still do, I see to it that I can work in an environment where people are valued higher than “the logic of business”. In addition to individual coaching, I also offer seminars.

My attitude

Authenticity is very important to me. There is an adaptation pressure that trains us to wear masks. However, we do not unfold our true strength until we are truly faithful to ourselves. So, in coaching, I look behind the masks and serve the inner core of my client, his true nature.

Human potential inspires me

I am fascinated by the hidden strengths, talents and abilities of people. Perhaps that is the reason why I am good at finding them and showing them to people. I often see more than they themselves, which inspires and encourages them.

I love it when people realize how they can be useful to others with their gifts, skills and abilities, and find fulfilment in using them. Since I have a good sense of how different people can work together productively, I can be of good help in this. I like to draw attention to what can be achieved and created – individually and collectively.

Keen sense with a clear head

Already as a child I was a good listener. It’s easy for me to put myself in other’s position, feel how they are and recognize what they need. But I am also good at assessing their personality and character. As you can probably imagine, this is useful for the work of a life coach. 😉

At the same time, however, I also keep my own perspective. This allows me to help my coaching customers to get a clear view and find the best way towards their goal.

What makes coaching good?

Good to know: Coaching methods are not all there is to coaching. At least as important are being naturally gifted, attitude, attentiveness and consistently developing a deeper understanding of the connections between the material, the mental, and the psychological – and also the spiritual.

I have been practicing yoga for 15 years and I like to busy myself with this tremendously rich and ancient science from India. Like coaching, yoga is also about realizing one’s potential. So, there absolutely is “mind yoga” flowing into my work as a life coach.

Coaching methods

Maybe you have heard of a certain coaching method or you have experienced it already. Perhaps you are looking for a life coach that masters this method. In my endeavours to embody my ideal of good coaching, my path and intention have led me into various fields of study, which directly support my life-coaching sessions: Strengths Psychology and Positive Psychology (GALLUP® Certified Strengths Coach), Systemic Consulting and Coaching (certified as a Management Executive Coach (ECA) and as a Business-Coach for Systemic Short-Time Concepts), Neuro-linguistic Programming (certified as NLP-Master), Generative Coaching, Provocative Coaching, Kinesiology and Wingwave®-Coaching (certified as Wingwave®-Coach).
